The Head of Partnerships & Business Development will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to attract and retain sponsors, driving market penetration, and leading the business development team. This senior role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development, sponsorship management, and strategic leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Develop and implement sponsorship and partnership strategies.
Identify and pursue high-value sponsorship opportunities.
Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends.
Planning and Target Setting:
Set and achieve revenue and partnership acquisition targets.
Create and monitor action plans for achieving goals.
Leadership and Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
Market Penetration:
Increase Cairo Runners’ presence and influence in the market.
Engage with key industry players and decision-makers.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors.
Ensure sponsors receive maximum value and return on investment.
Proposal and Presentation Development:
Create and present compelling sponsorship proposals.
Negotiate and close sponsorship agreements.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
Prepare and present regular reports on sponsorship performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
- 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or sponsorship roles.
- Strong understanding of sponsorship dynamics and brand partnership strategies.
- Excellent strategic planning, communication, and negotiation skills.
