Job Summary
The Business Excellence Manager is a seasoned professional and a key leader in driving process
excellence and continuous improvement across the company. This individual will be responsible for
creating, implementing, and sustaining standards, including the development of standard operating
procedures (SOPs), process maps, and flowcharts. This role requires a deep understanding of various
business areas to ensure best practices are incorporated and maintained.
Role Responsibilities
1- Develop and Implement Standards, including
▪ Lead the development and implementation of standardized processes, procedures, and metrics.
▪ Create and maintain clear and concise SOPs, process maps, and flowcharts to document and
standardize processes.
▪ Ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements across different sectors.
▪ Drive the adoption of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize
processes and eliminate waste.
2- Drive Continuous Improvement, including
▪ Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging and supporting employee
involvement in identifying and implementing improvement projects.
▪ Facilitate Kaizen events and other improvement initiatives.
▪ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for further improvement.
3- Training and Coaching, including
▪ Provide training and coaching to employees at all levels on continuous improvement tools and
techniques, including SOP development and process mapping.
▪ Mentor and coach employees to build their problem-solving and process improvement skills.
4- Data Analysis and Reporting, including
▪ Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends and root causes of problems.
▪ Prepare and present reports on performance metrics, improvement projects, and other key
initiatives.
▪ Communicate effectively on the status of improvement efforts and their impact on the
business.
Required Qualifications
▪ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
▪ Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment, with a
proven track record of driving process excellence and continuous improvement.
▪ Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing SOPs, process maps, and flowcharts.
▪ Demonstrated expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
▪ Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
▪ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
▪ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
▪ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
